This blog has been created as a platform to express and discuss issues in arts management. Still in the throes of the Great Recession of 2008, the arts industry is finally beginning to come to terms with a changing arts ecology. These changes are due in part to the recession, but other forces have been long at work: an aging population, the influence of the Baby Boomer generation, the Internet, technology and the increasing gaps between generations. This blog will look at some of the issues and events that are reshaping the arts industry. I hope you enjoy reading this blog and join in on the discussion.
(8 February 2012) Thank you for stopping by my blog, at the moment I am in the process of relocating back to the United States to start a new position. I begin that job on 12 March 2012, which is about when I should returning to this blog and hopefully going live with it shortly thereafter. I do hope you enjoy what you read.
